The mission of Lafayette Beauty Academy is to train and instruct students in the necessary skills and knowledge of both theory and practical knowledge in order that they will be qualified to pass the State Board Exam and to enter into the community as a qualified cosmetologist, of service to both the public and their employer. Lafayette Beauty Academy, Inc. strives to better educate our students in the profession that they have chosen.
Lafayette Beauty Academy is a corporation with the CEO being Kim Briles.
The staff has been thoroughly trained and maintains contact with modern trends and techniques.
Lafayette Beauty Academy has 5,000 square feet of clinic, classroom, office, reception
area, student lounges, dispensary and two restrooms all centrally heated and air
conditioned. Teaching aids: 5 shampoo bowls, 8 manicuring tables, television, VCR and
video tapes on various cosmetology subjects. We have 20 hair dryers, 42 work stations,
42 wet sterilizers, 3 dry sterilizers, reference library, 3 facial chairs, cabinet wig dryers
and 90 lockers. Lafayette Beauty Academy has facilities to accommodate 60 students.
We are located downtown Lafayette and have public transportation that comes to
Lafayette Beauty Academy. Lafayette Beauty Academy does not have housing available
for our students. At the present time we do not have handicap facilities for students.
